Greatcell Solar Materials’ PT1 Platinum Paste has been formulated for easy and reproducible platinum deposition, using high throughput screen printing to provide films with excellent uniformity and reproducibility. Greatcell Solar Materials’ PT1 Platinum Paste is oil-based and formulated for screen printing using a synthetic 100T mesh screen (or similar). After drying, this paste must be fired at or above 420°C. This results in uniformly distributed platinum nanoclusters, providing good transparency and high catalytic activity for the electrochemical reduction of I3- to I-. Greatcell Solar Materials’ PT1 Platinum Paste provides films with excellent uniformity and performance, virtually independent of the operator, and can be used for DSC pilot production.
