1,4-Diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octane-1,4-diium iodide (DABCO HI; CAS 33322-06-4) is a precursor used in the preparation of perovskite opto-electronic systems. The cation, 1,4-diazabicyclo [2,2,2] octane-1,4-diium (DABCO2+), is used with success as an organic spacer to passivate the defects and enhance the stability of perovskite solar cells (Shang et al., 2022).
