4-trifluoromethyl-benzylammonium bromide (CF3BZA-Br) is a hydrophobic bulky aromatic bromide salt used as a passivator in the preparation of perovskite-based optoelectronic systems. CF3BZA-Br-treated perovskite solar cells achieve an outstanding power conversion efficiency by suppressing the surface and interfacial imperfections (Lee et al., 2021).
