Guanidinium tetrafluoroborate (GuaBF4; CAS 36595-00-3) is a pseudo-halide salt used as precursor in the preparation of perovskite-based optoelectronic systems. Guanidinium tetrafluoroborate inhibits the formation of halogen vacancy defects with minimal effect on the perovskite lattice (Wang et al., 2023).
