Methylammonium acetate (MAAc; CAS Number: 6998-30-7) is a precursor used in the preparation of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The incorporation of the additive methylammonium acetate to the perovskite precursor solution leads to the improved photovoltaic performance of organic-inorganic PSCs (Xiao et al., 2019; Yan et al., 2019).
