Morpholinium tetrafluoroborate (MOT; CAS 19585-43-4) is used as a precursor in the preparation of optoelectronic applications. Morpholinium tetrafluoroborate was used successfully as an overlayer on the perovskite surface to mitigate challenges at the interface between the perovskite and hole transport layers (Bian et al., 2023). This post-treatment additive significantly improved the performance and stability of the resulting Perovskite Solar Cells.
