The additive n-Pentylammonium Iodide (CAS 60762-85-8) is a perovskite precursor used in the preparation of perovskite-based opto-electronic devices (Kingsford et al., 2023). n-Pentylammonium Iodide was used in combination with n-hexylammonium iodide to control the phase transition temperature of Ruddlesden–Popper two-dimensional (2D) perovskites.
