Phenethylammonium thiocyanate
Phenethylammonium thiocyanate (PEASCN) has been used with success as a 2D additive mixed with Phenethylammonium Iodide (PEAI; CAS Number: 151059-43-7) to develop a 2D-3D mixed wide-bandgap perovskite (Kim et al., 2020). The addition of phenethylammonium thiocyanate enables an efficient stable perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell validating the use of perovskites for highly performing Si-based tandems.
Greatcell Solar Materials offers a wide range of alkylammonium thiocyanates enabling researchers to explore the effect of the anion [SCN]− in perovskite-based opto-electronic systems. Use Greatcell Solar Materials’ high purity Phenethylammonium thiocyanate for your research projects.
