Pyridinium tetrafluoroborate (PyBF4; CAS 505-07-7) is a precursor used in the preparation of perovskite-based opto-electronic systems. Pyridinium tetrafluoroborate was used as an additive to passivate the intrinsic defects of bulk perovskite films enhancing the power conversion efficiency of the resulting perovskite solar cell (Xu et al., 2025).
